About Us
Background:
Set up in 2001, e-kidz has established itself as a fun and exciting kid’s club, that not only provides an avenue for children to enjoy themselves, but most importantly, imparts truths and character values to children through fun.
Here at e-kidz, we firmly believe in reaching out and connecting to children and raising a generation of secure men and women of good character who will be a blessing to their families and society.
What we do:
Weekly (Saturdays)
e-kidz holds a children’s programme at the e-kidz Centre for children aged 6-12. The focus is character development through the use of games, songs, skits, magic shows, puppetry and many others.
Monthly (Saturday)
Each month, e-kidz holds a birthday party on one of the Saturdays, celebrating the children whose birthdays fall in that month.
Special Events (e.g. Craft Day, Outings, Teachers’ Day, Christmas):
On occasions such as Mothers’ Day, Fathers’ Day and others, e-kidz organizes a Craft Day, where the children will gather together with their Group Leaders and make hand-made gifts to show their appreciation to their parents.
e-kidz organizes outings on special occasions where we bring children out to various places. Places we have gone to include the Heritage Centre, East Coast Park, NEWater visitor centre and many others.
e-kidz also holds parties for special events such as Chinese New Year, Teachers’ Day, Christmas and other occasions, where the children gather together to celebrate the occasion and enjoy a time of fun.
e-kidz holds a week long Day Camp once a year. During the camp, children get to play a variety of indoor and outdoor games that help build their confidence and psychomotor skills. Through a time of fun, the children are taught important life skills and character values that will aid them in their character and emotional development.
