River Community Church (RCC) was established on 15 November 1999. In RCC, our Vision is JESUS and our Mission is PEOPLE. In everything we do, we want to be Christ-centred and our common goal is to evangelise and make disciples of all nations.
We strongly believe in embracing and fulfilling the purpose of God in our lives for our generation, as well as raising future generations who will fear God, love and obey God, and serve Him only, proclaiming His works from one generation to another.
We are an intergenerational church consisting of the children, youths, adults & seniors.
Being followers of Christ, we believe we are carriers and couriers of God’s unconditional love, shown through our lifestyles in loving God and one another.
As a family, we love hanging out together doing different activities such as cycling, visiting various attractions, eating out, shopping… and lots of fun and play!

We have organised numerous camps since 2001. We believe in sowing the love of God and reaching out to the future generations, nurturing them to become men and women after God’s heart.
We also run training courses to equip churches with different skills to teach the Word of God – how they can bring in biblical truths through creative ways that are relevant to the changing culture without compromising biblical principles.

Hi, I’m Samuel!
After serving 11 years as a parish worker in different Anglican churches, I answered God’s call to start a church in November 1999. That was how River Community Church was birthed.
My heart’s desire is to see the Church growing in intimacy with God and embracing the purpose of God, that the souls will be discipled and grow to be mature disciples of Christ.
I firmly believe that in the last days, God is raising up a generation. With a strong desire, my heart is to equip the churches with principles in biblical parenting and training them to reach out to the community. In line with this, my passion is to finish the purpose of God for our generation and see a godly generation rise up to usher in the second coming of Jesus Christ.
I am married to Evelyn and we have 2 sons – David and Daniel (who is married to Faith). My interests include music, photography and the outdoors where I love to enjoy the nature that God created!

Hello, my name is Eve!
Together with Samuel and as a married couple, I was actively involved in the pioneering of River Community Church and the children ministry.
Every child is a gift from God. Children are like arrows in the hands of a warrior (Psalm 127:4) and they need to be sharpened to achieve their full potential in Christ. My desire is that they may grow up to be responsible and mature adults in the society, sent forth to the nations to fulfil God’s purpose.
In further pioneering and driving children’s work, I have collaborated with local and overseas churches, organising fun-filled evangelistic camps that are relevant to this generation, and running training courses to equip churches with the relevant skills for children ministry.
Anything to do with art, creative design and layout attract me. Crafting is also something that I fancy as I have a great love for design. I also enjoy the outdoors, going on walks (especially in the morning), occasional macro photography and reading.

Hello, I’m Adrian!
At the age of 11, I gave my heart to Jesus and found my home at River Community Church. (Thank God that my classmate invited me to e-kidz!)
My desire in life is to serve the Lord and to raise up a generation that will embrace intimacy with God and God’s purposes in their lives. Particularly for the young adults, my heart is to see them growing in the Lord and embracing Jesus as the centre of their lives, that even after they are married, they will continue to love God and serve Him in a Christ-centred family. I am actively serving in the Worship Ministry as well. I also preach the Word of God in e-kidz (children ministry), while heading the Games Department (where games are planned to teach children God’s character through fun and play).
Sports is what I enjoy! I also like watching movies and hanging out with friends!

Hey, I’m Daniel!
Though I grew up in church, I only encountered Jesus personally at the age of 18 and that was the turning point in my life. My dream is to see a generation experience God’s perfect love, grow in godliness and embrace His holiness in their lives.
As a youth pastor, I am passionate to help the youths find their greater purpose in Christ (Jeremiah 29:11). My desire is to see the 12-year-olds bridged into the Youth Ministry and the 17-year-olds bridged into the Young Adults Ministry. At the same time, I am serving as a Worship Leader while heading the Media Department (which explains my love for photography and videography).
I serve together with my beautiful wife, Faith! On top of my love for photography and videography, I also enjoy running and listening to music. You may also find me experimenting with food due to my love for cooking.

Hi I am Faith! (I would like to believe that I am full of faith and I am faithful!)
I came to know Jesus in my early teens. Since then, it has been an incredible journey with God. He has transformed my life and brought much healing to me. Hence, I am fully convinced that purpose can only be found in and through Him alone!
I strongly believe that God is a God who desires intimacy with His people. Hence, my desire is to lead people to experience God deeper for themselves. As people establish their relationship with God, my heart is to see and help others love and serve God faithfully till the end.
On top of serving as a Worship Leader, I also serve together with my amazing husband, Daniel, in the youth ministry.
I’m a total foodie. I enjoy eating so much that I started learning how to cook some of my favorite food! I also enjoy some nice coffee (or bubble tea) as I read or listen to music. I'm always up for a good game of volleyball or table tennis.

Hello, I’m Joel.
I was from a broken family. However, at the age of 4, I came to River Community Church and it was in this very church where I experienced God’s love and His restoration in my life and family. Praise God!
I strongly believe in the importance of training the next generation in the character and ways of God, and my desire is to see every youth grow to love God, fear God and serve Him only (Deuteronomy 6:13).
Also serving in the Children Ministry, my goal is to bridge the 12-year-olds into the youth programme and to establish them in godly youth fellowship. I lead worship in church and serve in the Media Department as well.
Whenever I have the time, I enjoy photography, fishing and sweating it out at the karting tracks!
